The Socio-economic Duty came into force in Wales on the 31 March 2021.
The Duty places a legal responsibility on public bodies when they are taking strategic decisions to consider the inequalities of outcome experienced as a result of socio-economic disadvantage.
Ultimately, it will encourage better decision making delivering better outcomes for those who are socio-economically disadvantaged.
This training module is designed to develop awareness and understanding.
