The Socio-economic Duty part B
This module is for policy leads, practitioners and decision makers.
The Socio-economic Duty came into force in Wales on the 31 March 2021.
The Duty places a legal responsibility on bodies when they are taking strategic decisions to have due regard to the need to reduce the inequalities of outcome resulting from socio-economic disadvantage. It will encourage better decision making and ultimately deliver better outcomes for those who are socio-economically disadvantaged.
