Welcome to the Managing Attendance at Work learning programme.

This programme has been designed to support managers in understanding and applying the Managing Attendance at Work Policy. The modules provide practical guidance on preventing sickness absence, supporting staff wellbeing, managing short- and long-term absence, and using occupational health services effectively.

The programme is divided into six standalone modules. You may complete the modules in any order and at a pace that suits your learning needs, although new managers may find it beneficial to work through them sequentially. Each module focuses on a specific aspect of attendance management and can be revisited whenever required as a reference resource.

While the modules provide practical guidance, managers should always refer to the latest version of the Managing Attendance at Work Policy and seek advice from People Services where required.
